Meg Madison ’24 Named Gatorade Player of the Year for Second Year in a Row
Congratulations to
Meg Madison ’24
for being named Gatorade Player of The Year for Massachusetts! While running for Winsor Cross Country, Meg has been named the Player of the Year two years in a row.
According to Gatorade’s Press release, the award, which recognizes not only outstanding athletic excellence, but also high standards of academic achievement and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field, distinguishes Meg as Massachusetts’ best high school girls cross country player.
Last fall, Meg successfully defended her EIL title which she has held for three consecutive years, leading Winsor’s Cross Country team to their
18th EIL Championship title
.
